Elon Musk: Twitter Will Kill Obscure Parody Account

Twitter's new owner, Elon Musk, has warned that Twitter accounts that do not specify that they are parody accounts will be suspended without warning.

Earlier, Twitter used to warn those doing this. Twitter's new billionaire owner has said that now account suspension will be immediate and no warning will be given to the user.

Since Elon Musk bought Twitter, many users have renamed their accounts to Elon Musk, mocking the billionaire owner. All such accounts have either been closed or marked with a warning.

Elon Musk took charge of the Twitter company last month.

Elon Musk laid off nearly half of the company's 7,500 employees last week.

Elon Musk has also announced to charge $8 per month from verified account holders with Blue Tick.

Detailing his policy regarding parody accounts, Elon Musk said in a Twitter message: "In the past we used to give a warning before suspending an account, now we're starting a massive verification process, and No warning will be given. Changing the name of the account will temporarily remove the account verification mark.
